Promoting vocational education for sustainable development. Enabling green skills for climate-friendly, resource-efficient action at work.

The planned measures are centred around two action areas:

  • Skills development across trades in the energy-efficient refurbishment of buildings
Development and trialling of new, practice-oriented modules to primarily reach apprentices - but also journeymen and masters of a trade - and the development and trialling of new approaches to enable industry-wide learning partnerships and exchange programmes within a trade as well as between multiple trades involved in the energy-efficient refurbishment of buildings. Plans are also in place to develop and test modules for the continuing education of training staff.
  • Greening of jobs - access and possibilities for action
Development and trialling of hands-on learning activities of a work camp nature for sustainable development in vocational training and a mobile walk-through exhibition focussing on the greening of jobs and access to these jobs.
