Right candidate for the job

The funding programme Right candidate for the job ("Passgenaue Besetzung") aims to match potential trainees with training places, helping to ensure that Germany has the skilled workers it needs. Funding is provided for consultants who help SMEs fill their vacant training slots with suitable German and foreign young people (the indirect target group).

Funding is available for consulting services and support measures provided by the chambers of skilled crafts, chambers of industry and commerce, chambers of the liberal professions and other non-profit business organisations.

The new guideline is to come into force on 1.1.2024. The focus of the guideline will be aligned with the current needs of SMEs and the latest research findings.

Right candidate for the job is the follow-up to the programme of the same name in the 2014-2020 ESF programming period.
