Transnational mobility under the ESF in Andalusia
1. Brief description of planned programme
The transnational mobility programme in Andalusía will be designed as a transnational mobility action for disadvantaged youth. The main purpose of this mobility action is to provide transnational mobility placements as a complementary qualification with an additional component of personal motivation. This initiative tries to "activate" the disadvantaged youth thanks to a challenging personal and professional experience through a work stay abroad. This transnational mobility action intends to improve youth labour chances in the short and medium term. Additionally, the mobility action includes training to develop transversal key competences, as well as a follow-up phase to provide individual support and guidance into the labour market or into the education or training process in order to get a certification.
2. Intended target group
The transnational mobility programme in Andalusía will address young people aged 18 to 24 not in employment, education or training (NEET) who are considered to be vulnerable with regard to their chances of entering education, vocational training and employment. The youngster-beneficiary of this action must be registered in the National System of Youth Guarantee.
3. ESF Thematic Priority
The transnational mobility programme in Andalusia will be linked to the thematic objective "promoting sustainable and quality employment and supporting labour mobility" and to the investment priority "sustainable integration into the labour market of young people, in particular those not in employment, education or training, including young people at risk of social exclusion and young people from marginalised communities, including through the implementation of the Youth Guarantee".
